Visit it either in the morning or in the evening. Join the Corfiots for a stroll along the Liston streets with the famous cafes and along the cobbled narrow alleys of the historical Old Town protected by UNESCO. Famous designer boutiques but also low price copies of designer clothes can be bought in the stores of the alleyways. Visit The Old Fortress which is opposite the Cricket pitch, hire a carriage to see the most important sights or take a ride with the red train which departs in front of McDonalds'.

Paleokastritsa-Bella Vista tour

Passing through the traditional villages with the narrow strees and traditional old houses, you will reach BELLA VISTA where you can admire the most spectacular and breathtaking scenery above Paleokastritsa. A part of James Bond movie "For Your Eyes Only" was filmed there. Don't forget your camera. Swim at the beach and  take a boat to visit to "blue eye" cave and surrounding beaches. A visit to the famous local monastery is sometheing you should not miss. Built in the 13th century in a Byzantine styl, its beautiful church, shady archways and lovely gardens are ideal for photographs. In the end, visit the Koum kouat distillery and taste this local liquer. Combine this daily tour with swimming at the  amazing sandy beaches of Agios Georgios and Agios Stefanos.

Kassiopi &Old Perithia

This picturesque village of Kassiopi with its pretty harbor where you can see the fantastic view of the Albanian mountains is a highly recomended excursion. You can walk among the ruins of the roman castle on the hill or you can visit the church on the way to the harbor where you can sit in the cafes and restaurants that surround it. Enjoy a stroll around the many gift shops and the famous lace shops of Kassiopi. Pebbly beaches with crystal waters are not far away in case you want a quick dive. Don't forget to visit the whole northeastern coast of Corfu. Places like Kouloura ,Kalami,Agios Stefanos ,Agni bay are unforgettable. Leaving Kassiopi, on the way to Sidari, you will reach the junction of Old Perithia. It is a deserted village below Mount  Pantokrator. The roads that lead to Old Perithia are narrow so you should drive slowcarefully. Enjoy a delicious ice cream or a cool drink on the way down to the local café.

Paxos & Antipaxos Islands

The islands of Paxos and Antipaxos are situated close to the southern coast of Corfu. Superstitions and customs

While your stay here you may have the chance to see different customes

  • -if wine is split at the table, it brings good luck. The opposite happens if you spill oil.
  • -you will receive money if your cup of Greek coffee has bubbles on its surface or if your left hand itches.
  • -scissors or cupboards left open indicate that people are talking about you.
  • -if a house has two doors ,a visitor should leave from the same door he entered.
  • -if someone sneezes during a conversation he agrees with what is said.
  • -In New Year's Eve, basil is offered to the passers-by, as an indication of friendship and hospitality.
  • -never start a job on Saturday or Sunday because it may remain unfinished.
  • -The custom that takes place on Easter Sunday at 11.00am is the 1st resurrection. All the churches of Corfu announce it with the words Christos Anesti (Chris is risen).The response is Alithinos anesti (he is risen indeed).
  • -Watch out at that moment as pots filled with water are thrown from the windows crashing noisily onto the streets. This ritual demonstrates the anger of the Christians for the crucifixation of Christ.

Airport Procedures

Upon arrival at your reception, check your flight number at the information screens and check –in area where your check in desks will be shown. Remember that on most flights the luggage allowance is strictly 20 kilos and 1 small item of hand baggage is permitted in the cabin. After check in you will find time for coffee or last minute shopping .Ensure you are 45 minutes before scheduled departure at the boarding gate. Should you have any problems while at the airport, please speak to an airline representative who will do their best to assist you.
